Your diary is never collected. The app sends nothing about you or your records. If you buy Insights, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google and confirmed through a purchase-management service using an anonymous ID. This website collects an email address only if you choose to enter one for a giveaway.

The Dandelion app

Dandelion is built local-only. Your diary (sessions, treatment maps, sketches, photos, inventory, and settings) is stored in the app's own storage on your device. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, no cloud sync, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing you record is transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we have no ability to see it.

Photos you attach stay on your device with the rest of your diary. Sharing is always a deliberate act: the app only ever produces an image when you explicitly export one, and you choose where it goes.

Because your diary exists only on your device: deleting the app deletes the diary. Use the export feature in Settings whenever you want a copy of your records. Your records are never held behind any payment. Export is always available.

Purchases

Insights is a one-time purchase made through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment under their own privacy policies, and we never see your payment details. To confirm and restore your unlock, the app uses a purchase-management service. It receives the purchase record, an anonymous ID generated by that service, and basic technical details such as the app version and platform. It never receives your diary, photos, name, or email.

This website

dandeliondex.app is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and uses no trackers.

If you enter your email address for a giveaway, it is collected by our newsletter provider with double opt-in (you confirm by email before you're subscribed). We use it to run the draw, notify winners, and send occasional news. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you. We never sell or share the list.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and any material change to what the app does with data would be described plainly here. The app's core commitment, that your diary stays on your device, is a design decision, not a policy preference. Changing it would mean building a different app.
