What is Dandelion?
A private diary for at-home aesthetic treatments: microneedling, peels, and more. It records your sessions with treatment maps, photos, products, and the intervals between, entirely on your phone.
Is Dandelion free?
Yes. The diary is free, with no ads, forever. That covers logging, maps, photos, regimen, planner, inventory, sharing, and export. A single optional one-time purchase permanently unlocks Insights.
Where is my diary stored?
On your device, in the app's own storage. Nothing is uploaded anywhere; there is no account and no cloud. That also means: if you delete the app, the diary goes with it, so export first.
Are my photos private?
Completely. Photos stay on your device with the rest of your diary. The only image that ever leaves is one you deliberately export to share.
Does Dandelion tell me what treatments to do?
No, by design. Dandelion records what you choose to do. It never advises, recommends, or instructs.
Can I move my diary to a new phone?
Yes. In Settings, use export to produce a complete copy of your diary as text, move it to the new phone however you prefer (notes app, email to yourself, a file), then use "Paste a diary" in Settings on the new phone to import it. Photos are included in the export.
Which treatments can I track?
Built-in types cover microneedling, peels, skin boosters, and more, and you can create your own custom types with their own names, colors, cadences, and body maps, so the regimen matches what you actually do.
How do giveaways work?
Occasionally we give away supplies and community favorites. Entry is a free email signup on the giveaways page. No purchase, ever.
How is Dandelion funded?
There are no ads, no data sales, and no sponsors deciding what the app does. The optional Insights unlock and user support keep it running (see below).
